 Module 1   Unit 1 Xiaoling’s New Apartment

教学内容分析

本节课是本课的第一节课,主要继续学习并巩固比较级。比较级学生在五年级已有接触;本节课的重点要求学生能全面理解对话,流利朗读。

一、         教学对象分析

学生通过三年多的学习有较强的自学能力。英语语言基础较好,但仍有部分学生对语法及概念性知识的理解运用有一定难度。因此,教师通过有趣的活动,将知识由浅入深。通过各种有趣的活动,让不同层次学生能够在本节课中都能够有所收获。

 

二、         教学目标

1、      语言知识:A  学生能理解并掌握形容词比较级在英语中的运用。

             B学生能通过老师创设的情境领悟所学的单词并“三会”或“四会”掌握。

“三会”单词:pillow ,  comfortable ,  kung fu

“四会”单词:show , change , dark,  far away from , close to ,grandma ,try,

句型:1.…was 比较级  than …,2…was …before,but now…

 

2、语言技能:A  对变化后的比较级单词能正确发音。

             B  能运用所学知识用比较级造句。

 

3、情感态度:在学习合作中,增强学习英语的兴趣与参与热情;并带着热情去观察身边的一切。

 

4、学习策略:A  学生主动获取信息

             B 通过多种形式了解并掌握知识。

四、教学重点:

    1.形容词比较级运用 2.comfortable的发音

五、         教学难点:

形容词比较级的灵活运用。

六、         教学媒体:

实物、多媒体,照片。

七、教学过程:

一.         教学步骤

一)Revision:

1.chant(自编,红字可替换stronger,shorter,cutter…)

Tall ,tall ,Who is tall?

He is tall.She is tall.

We are tall,tall,tall.

Taller,taller ,Who is taller?

He is taller.she is taller.

They are taller than me.

2.              Read the comparatives  of the adjectives and and the action.

1.tall—---tallert2.short—-shorter3.big—--bigger4.small—--smaller

5.long—--longer 6.strong—--stronger7.good—---better 8.large---larger9.bright---brighter 10pretty---prettier 11near—nearer 12.beautiful---more beautiful  13.interesting---more interesting  14.important ----more important 15.popular---more popular

 

3.              Look at the two houses and make sentences.(用比较级)

例:Tom’s house is newer than Jack’s.

His house is bigger than Jack’s .

These windows are cleaner than those .

 

二)Presentation and practice

1.     Tell the aim of this Unit

2.老师通过谈论自己春节假期的活动和所见所闻引出并操练新单词---show change,kung fu ,far way from,close  to,confortable,try

1)    T:Hi,Kids.Did you have a happy time in this Spring Festival?Yes.Me too.Let me talk about my holiday for you .First,Let me show you my photos.Would you like to  show us your photos?(学习并操练show)

 

2)    In the holiday,I saw a film on TV at home.Can you guess the name?Let me give you some tips.1,It’s very interesting . 2 The actor is Zhouxingchi. 3,(老师做出打功夫的动作) .Yes,It’s Kung Fu.Do you like Chinese kung fu?Welcome XX,let’s watch his kung fu.(操练Kung fu)

 

 

3)(课件呈现:春运民工火 回老家的图片)In my holiday.I like reading newspaper at home.Look at the people ,they are going back home.Their hometown is far away from Guangzhou.Maybe they come from Hunan,Hubei,Jiansu.Hunan is far away from Guangzhou.Jiansu is far away from Guangzhou.( 指着中国地图介绍) But my hometown Zengchen is a lot closer to Guangzhou.(操练:让学生 着中国地图和世界地图用be far away from,be closer to 造句)

 

4)In the holiday,I visited the Yuexiu Park.It was my second time to be there.Let me show you about the changes.(课件呈现呈现两张不同时期的公园图片)(操练:change)

5)I went on the Pearl River Cruse.It was messy ,dirty before ,but now it’s cleaner and more beautiful. (图片对比,让学生理解并会用这句型表达其它,珠江河的卫生和美与环保密切相关,在图片的对比中加入番禺野生动物园动物的今昔对比动物与人类的关系要求我们教育我们的孩子热爱自然,保护环境,珍惜与动物和谐相处的关系)

如:His bedroom was messy before ,but now it’s clean.

   Sally was happy before ,but now she is sad.

 

3)    In the holiday,I bought two pillows .(课件呈现两个pillow图)One is for my son,one for my dad.They were so happy.My son said to his grandpa:”My pillow is more comfortabel than yours”.Do you think so?引导学生说出”Your son’s pillow is more comfortable than his grandpa’s. 操练:课件呈两张床让学生对比并用comfortable 仿照造句

5)学习try ,在教学过程中不断用鼓励的语言:Try,try your best!引导学生说Let me try!

 

3.Learning the dialogue

1)    Listento the dialogue and watch ,try to understand.(金太阳课件)

2)    Listen again,find the changes then fill the form..(课件)

1.     Read and listen to Unit 1 five times and recit the dialogue.

2.     Copy the new words and dialogue or make a dialogue  like Unit1.
